What I love about D2 is there's almost like a job system depending on the item build. I don't really mind taking months of grinding just to get a few good pieces. It is undeniable that getting rare loots in D3 feels nowhere as good as in D2. And that makes a good drop feel that much better. And that's okay, because you're not meant to have every single character have the absolute best in-slot for every slot unless you're willing to put an absolute shit ton of time in. I won't be running ladder and (unless I'm just incredibly lucky) will likely never see BOTD or a windforce ever again. It's like entitlement gaming or something. D3 killed that, just play a little bit and you get the good set that season. I liked when some items were so rare that there was a decent chance you never get them. On the other hand, I disagree with your attitude/philosophy (?) That you should always be getting the best gear. Even if you have a ton of time to game, what if you just don't want to rush? You end up playing ladder just so have access, but it's pointless because you're not even trying to compete. On the one hand I agree with you that there should not be ladder-only content. So yeah the devs have said they'll maintain the ladder-only runewords for D2R. The dev haven't mention anything about this yet. I doubt shared stash will function between ladder and non-ladder. It's just different building it yourself. I guess the only ways to get em is through trading or the occasional freebies.

I simply don't have as much time to game as I do 10yrs ago, plus they gonna make ladder shorter so chances of me getting those pieces on my own is even slimmer. As far as I know, you can't really get those special runewords in single player either without using some kind of mod.
especially when many top builds use them (Grief, Spirit, Infinity, etc), then I can't help but to feel a bit snubbed. I don't mind exclusive cosmetics, but exclusive gears. I can still farm for the same gear in normal game, it might take longer to assemble but at least I still have a chance to do so. One aspect I like about D3's season is that it makes it easier for me to get a particular gear set. Wenn du die Option ActiveLadderRunewords=1 aktivierst, zwingt PlugY das Spiel dazu ein bestimmtes Attribut zu ignorieren mit dem einzelne Runenwörter im SP deaktiviert werden und macht nichts individuelles mit den einzelnen RWs.Don't know how everyone else feels about ladder-only runewords, I always feel bummed out when I slot in a rare rune into an even rarer 5 or 6 open-socket gear only to find out I can only make certain ones in ladder and end up with a really expensive piece of junk. Wenn dann irgendwelche Runenwörter nicht funktionieren, liegt es nicht an PlugY sondern an der Mod.

Dann D2 neu installieren, D2SE installieren, den Mod installieren/entpacken (saves wiederherstellen) und mit meiner Anleitung von oben weitermachen.

Die "save" Verzeichnisse aus den CORES / MODS Ordnern und das normale "Diablo II\save" Verzeichnis vorher natürlich sichern. Wenn das bei dir nicht klappt, solltest du einmal alles deinstallieren und dein D2 Verzeichnis komplett löschen. Alle Dateien aus dem Verzeichnis "Diablo II\PlugY\PlugY" in das Verzeichnis "Diablo II\PlugY" verschieben und den jetzt leeren Ordner "Diablo II\PlugY\PlugY" löschen

PlugY 11.02 zip herunterladen und in das Diablo II\PlugY Verzeichnis entpacken (alle vorhanden dateien übschreiben)ģ.
im Mod-Verzeichnis die plugy.dll löschenĢ. Ich habe die Mod eben ohne weitere Probleme mit PlugY 11.02 starten können, welches ich global für alle Mods installiert habe.ġ. Ich mache hier mal auf deutsch weiter, da ich davon ausgehe das wenn du eine pur deutsche Mod spielen willst, du auch deutsch sprichst.
